'Let me live, love and say it well in good sentences'

Lauren Pritchard

I’m really excited about a new pop/rock singer-songwriter from Tennessee called Lauren Pritchard. Her track ‘When The Night Kills The Day’ (co-written with Ed Harcourt and produced by Marcus Mumford) is brilliant. I can’t stop listening to it.

Lauren is only 22 but her back story is pretty incredible; she is an accomplished stage actress, a brilliant songwriter and pianist, who can count the Presley clan amongst her inner circle, but it will definitely be her own talents which give her that much deserved claim to fame. Her debut EP ‘The Jackson Sessions’ is out on the 3rd May. I was lucky enough to receive a complimentary copy via her official website. I definitely recommend it.

Lauren is coming to the UK late April/early May for a series of intimate shows. I am going to catch her at a great little venue in the Northern Quarter of Manchester; Nexus Arts Cafe. A cup of tea, perhaps a Garibaldi or two, listening to the vocal delights of an upcoming star, it doesn’t get any better.
